GlitterBug Potion is made from Water 7732-18-5, Blue Pigment Mixture, White Mineral Oil 8042-47-5, Glycerine 56-81-5, Glycerine 56-81-5, Mixture containing Glyceryl Stearate 123-94-4 PEG-100 Stearate 9004-99-3, Stearic Acid 57-11-4 and Cetyl Alcohol 36653-82-4.

Health effects:

  • Acute Eye: Contact with eyes may cause eye irritation.
  • Acute Skin: This product may cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals.
  • Acute Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation.
  • Acute ingestion: Not expected to be a likely route of entry during normal product use. This product may cause gastrointestinal harm if it is swallowed.

First Aid Measures:

  • Eye Exposure: Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention if adverse effect occurs.
  • Skin Exposure: Immediately begin flushing skin continuously for a minimum of 15 minutes. Remove exposed or contaminated clothing, taking care not to contaminate eyes. Seek immediate medical attention if adverse effect occurs.
  • Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If necessary, use artificial respiration to support vital functions. Seek medical attention.
  • Ingestion: If the material is swallowed, get immediate medical attention or advice. Never give anything by mouth to a victim who is unconscious or is having convulsions. Do not induce vomiting.

Health Effects:

  • Eye Contact: may cause irritation
  • Skin Contact: may cause irritation
  • Inhalation Hazards: Outgassing of formaldehyde vapors can be irritating
  • Ingestion Hazards: Small amounts swallowed are not likely to cause injury. Not a hazard in normal industrial use
  • Target Organs: No organs affected
  • Cancer Hazards: This product contains less than 0.1% free formaldehyde and may be capable of outgassing formaldehyde at levels in excess of OSHA’s Action Level under some conditions of use. Formaldehyde is a potential cancer hazard. Long term exposure may result in dermatitis or respiratory sensitisation for sensitive individuals.

  • Eye Contact: Immediately flush with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. Call a physician.
  • Skin Contact: Practice good industrial hygiene. Wash with soap and water.
  • Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Treat symptoms. Call physician.
  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Give water. Call a physician.
